Came in at 29:45 at about a 9:35 pace. I was hoping for a bit faster but still managed to shave several minutes off my last run, so that is encouraging. Thanks to my wonderful wife and son for coming and cheering me on, despite the early hour. One of the greatest challenges in raising a child with sensitivities is making special events like birthdays as "normal" as possible. Christy and I volunteered to make a GFCF cake for her that will (hopefully) help her have a great birthday. As this is my initial post of my blog, I would like to lay out its purpose and content. The objective of this blog is to act as a journal of life in the Johnson family; recording through my eyes the course of my family's life.<br /><br />I would like to give an overview to the gentle reader on what I will be writing about and what I enjoy (some would say obssess over :)). I enjoy first and foremost spending time with my family (both physical and spiritual) and friends.
